Campaigns get the attention, but lifecycle is where the compounding happens. A good campaign spikes; a good sequence runs in the background, catching people at exactly the right moment — the enquiry, the arrival, the six-month drift — and doing the follow-up a busy team never has time to. I own the CRM and email platform, and built the journeys that turn one-off interest into a relationship.
Since taking over the CRM, I built seven automated lifecycle sequences — welcome, win-back, wedding, launch and lodge nurtures — with the welcome journey averaging 65% open and 33% click-to-open, roughly double the industry norm.
A wedding is an eighteen-month decision, not an eighteen-minute one — and most venues send a brochure and go quiet. I built a nurture sequence that does the opposite: a series of emails that keeps the venue present across the long consideration window. It corrects the myths, surfaces the details a couple in research-mode would otherwise miss, and inspires rather than chases — so that when they're finally ready to enquire, you're the venue they already feel something for. The point isn't more leads. It's better ones, warmed over time.
